How to record a voucher with medicalized services and internal transfer (medicalized health center with no ambulance)

Step 1:

Navigate to https://www.kwivuza.rssb.rw and sign in.

Step 2:

Select the memberwho is seeking medical services.

Step 3:

Create a voucher for the selected individual by filling all fields.

Step 4:

Click "Continue: Diagnosis & referral."

Step 5:

Select a health practitioner.

Step 6:

Click here "to search for diagnosis by name" if any, and select it.

Step 7:

Click this checkbox if the patient has been referred internally.

Step 8:

Add referral reason and click "Continue: Add prescription"

Step 9:

search for all medical products and services provided to the patient and add them one by one.

Step 10:

Click "Add to list."

Step 11:

Click "Next: Review and confirm."

Step 12:

"If a nurse tries to add a medicalized product, they will receive an error: 'Vouchers with medicalized health products can only be prescribed by a medical doctor,' as only doctors are allowed to prescribe them. They will have to delete them to continue.

Step13 :

Click "Next: Review and confirm."

Step 14:

Here, you can see that RSSB will pay RWF 0, as the amount has already been covered under capitation. The patient will pay RWF 200 if he/she is not supported by the government.

Step 15:

Click "Next: Finish"

Step 16:

This voucher will have a 'ready for invoice' status as it will not be verified.

Step17 :

Check the eligibility again and continue.

Step 18:

Choose the referred patient and continue.

Step 19:

Choose if it is out or in-patient and fill all the remaining fields.

Step 20:

Click "Continue: Diagnosis & referral"

Step 21:

Click this checkbox since the patient is referred.

Step 22:

Choose the patient transfer, and you will see the necessary information about the transfer.

Step 23:

Select the doctor the patient was assigned to.

Step24 :

Click "Continue: Add prescription."

Step 25:

Search for medicalised services provided to the patient.

Step 26:

Click "Add to list."

Step 27:

Click "Next: Review and confirm."

1. For a voucher with a medicalized product, RSSB will pay 90% of the cost of the medicalized product and the patient will pay 10% of the total amount on the voucher.
